Grub Burger Bar

First time here. Passing thru Tallahassee. Was at Trader Joe’s next door smelled the burgers cooking and decided to grab a bite to eat. Atmosphere was good but the food was not. Signs everywhere said if you sign up for their app you get a free snack or side. So I signed up and when I went to place my $30 order they said “you have to wait 4 hours before you can redeem your reward to get the free snack”. Thanks a lot. If I would have known that I wouldn’t have wasted my time signing up. We each got burgers and fries. Pretty plain and bland. Cheese fries were soggy and skimpy on the jalapeños. They forgot our sweet potato fries so I had to go back up to the counter to get them. They were mainly a bunch of broken leftover pieces. Disappointing. Waste of money. Wanted to treat my husband and now he doesn’t feel good. Won’t ever be coming back.

Stopped here for a burger during a day in Tallahassee as we were hungry for a burger. Delicious burger with fries at a great price. We got a sampler of their awesoms sauces to try on the burger and fries. good selection of draft beers and wines. Great casual spot for good food. We sat at the bar so we had the advantage of being served by the bartender.

We ordered a grilled chicken family meal today to support our local GRUB in Tallahassee, FL. The chicken was very tender; the Cuban-style black beans & rice were very tasty -- seemed to have a hint of lime in them; the salad was great; and soft rolls. It was all very good! We will go back soon and try one of the other family meals. During this uncertain time for all of us, we are glad GRUB is able to stay open and continue to serve good quality food for take-out orders.
